First thing. WORLD MAP.
Only problems with how I'm doing this that it cant handle either:
1. If the road between 2 nodes needs to bend or curve
2. If a node is a fork in the road, and connects to 3 or more others
But I'm sure i can just add edge cases for those. Also... Pause menu.
The zombies also make noises now. Other than that, there's not much new, so I'd better just make the big reveal. This build is actually out on itch, RIGHT NOW! Go ahead and try it out.

Been working on this boomer shooter type deal in Godot.
Here's the first level, fully textured and everything. of course, these textures will be further facelifted at some point.
Fun fact about the default humanoid model I'm using: I first started with the player character and his brother, then for the zombies I basically smashed it into a more human looking head. From then i Used to make these three. One side effect of this is that the skin material is named "Fur" for all of them, because i never changed it to be context-sensitive. Not like it matters, anyway...
I'll post again when i have a build ready. Up next on the agenda is UI, Including the HUD, a pause menu, and an actual handling of levels instead of just sending you straight to this screen when you reach the end.

This video took way too damn long for how short it is, mainly because of problems writing the script.
